Mariners have something to build on

(Chuck Armstrong, President, Seattle Mariners)The Seattle Mariners played well today, winning a 3-2 game against the soon to be AL West Champion Angels. The Mariners offense has been good all year long, but they're going to need significant upgrades to the starting five if they want to make the postseason next year.
Here are some personal suggestions:
Extend Jose Guillen
Play Adam Jones everyday in LF
Consider trading Wlademir Balentin/Jeff Clement/Ben Broussard for starting picthing
Consider platooning Raul Ibanez, Jose Vidro at 1B/DH
Think hard about re-signing Jeff Weaver, Chris Reitsma
Consider finding new ways of using Richie Sexson/Horacio Ramirez...
